See what you cannot see alone.
Identify technical habits that are difficult to feel from inside the stroke—and understand why they matter.
Online rowing coaching for ambitious club, university, Masters, and indoor rowers who want clearer technical feedback, smarter training priorities, and a more efficient stroke.

Most motivated rowers do not lack effort. They train, complete the sessions, and want to improve.
What they often lack is regular individual feedback: someone who can identify what is limiting their stroke, explain it clearly, and give them the right technical priority to work on next.
There is a large gap between the knowledge available inside professional rowing and the feedback many ambitious rowers can access. My goal is to help close that gap.

Identify technical habits that are difficult to feel from inside the stroke—and understand why they matter.
Replace scattered corrections with one clear technical priority, supported by practical drills and direct feedback.
Approach erg and on-water sessions with greater awareness, purpose, and a clearer connection between effort and execution.
Every athlete is different, and no specific result can be guaranteed. Progress depends on your starting point, consistency, training environment, and how well the feedback is implemented.

Depending on your goals and situation, working together can include:
The aim is not to give every athlete the same generic plan. It is to understand your rowing, identify the most useful next step, and make the coaching relevant to you.
Consistent rowers who want more individual technical direction.
Athletes who want to develop faster and understand the details behind performance.
Serious rowers who value practical, honest feedback and clear priorities.
Erg-focused athletes working to become more efficient and transfer power effectively.
You do not need to be elite. You do need to be motivated, coachable, and willing to apply feedback consistently.

I am Armandas Kelmelis, a two-time Olympian who recently retired from professional rowing and is now putting my full focus into coaching.
My experience comes from years inside elite training environments: preparing for major competitions, analysing performance, making technical changes under pressure, and learning how small details influence the complete stroke.
I also helped my brother, Arnedas Kelmelis, prepare for the World Championships, where he finished fifth in the Men’s Pair at 23 years old.
Credentials alone do not improve someone’s rowing. The value is in turning that experience into feedback you can understand, practise, and apply.

No empty promises. Serious work, honest feedback, and clear priorities.

No. This is for motivated rowers who want to improve and are willing to apply feedback consistently.
Access to an ergometer or clear rowing video is helpful because it allows more specific technical feedback. If you are unsure, explain your situation in the enquiry form.
Armandas will review your enquiry and reply personally by email. There is no automatic call booking and no obligation.
If you are serious about improving and want direct feedback from a two-time Olympian, tell me about your rowing and what you want to achieve.
